Our vision of becoming a packaging leader in the global market is predicated on our ability to attract motivated professionals who possess advanced skills and competencies and share our commitment to integrating sustainability in all aspects of business.
To make sure we can meet these goals in an increasingly competitive labour market, our Human Resources team manages these procedures at the group level by putting in place work instructions and processes that identify needs across all our departments and business functions.
More than 70% of Aluflexpack employees work in plants audited according to SMETA/Sedex.
Health and safety as the top priority
The well-being and safety of our employees are paramount to our organisation, and we are committed to consistently incorporating advanced practices into our production processes and operations, at the same time improving our high standards of safety. We recognise our responsibility to provide safe working conditions and allocate resources to uphold and enhance the physical and emotional welfare of our colleagues.
We manage occupational health and safety by adhering to local and international regulations and standards, establishing agreements with employees, conducting regular validated risk assessments, delivering mandatory training, and acquiring numerous external certifications including EcoVadis certification and ASI Performance Standard, which encompasses occupational health and safety considerations.

We listened to our employees and have developed an action plan aiming to increase employee satisfaction, in topics ranging from workplace benefits, through communication, to strengthening team spirit and the feeling of pride.

Employee activities
Within our Great Place to Work project, we are continuously committed to systematically building and investing in improving the satisfaction of our employees.
With this in mind, we support projects that promote sports activities and encourage our employees and their families to live a more active and healthier lifestyle, socialise with one another and spend time in nature. Some of the events in which our employees take place are: the Vienna City Marathon, Wings for Life World Run, Istria 100 by UTMB®, the Badger Trail, Promina Trail Drniš, and many others.
Community investments
"Future in your neighbourhood"
We want to encourage and contribute to positive changes in society through the project of training, guidance and employment of young people entitled Future in Your Neighbourhood.
The aim of this project is for high school and university students to recognise Aluflexpack as an esteemed and desired employer and guide them towards in-demand professions, to employ young people of all professions, to facilitate professional development and career development in new generations and strengthen society and local communities.
GOOD Fest
As a successful socially responsible company, we encourage excellence and creativity in everything we do. For many years, we have been supporting projects in the communities surrounding our sites, especially those related to our employees, children and youth, culture and art and environmental protection.
GOOD Fest is an excellent opportunity that completes our vision of how to contribute to the community in which we operate in the best possible way: a theatre and music festival organised by Theatre Moruzgva and the Tourist Board of the Town of Drniš, where we act as a partner supporting the art programme.
